The Rotary Youth Camp is Closed for the Summer 2020 Season

It is with heavy hearts that we must announce the closure of the Rotary Youth Camp for the remainder of our summer camping season. Our board members came to the very difficult decision that, to best protect our community and campers, we must remain closed to traditional camping events until Labor Day Weekend (2020).
- We welcome all with open arms -

So you want to attend or host a camp?

You’ve come to the right place. The Rotary Youth Camp works with groups to plan life-changing camps throughout the year, and we see more than 3,500 campers annually. We provide the facilities, food, kitchen and pool staff to groups at no cost to the organization. Each group provides the cabin staff, program staff, medical and administrative staff, and most importantly, the campers.

Want to stop by and see the grounds before your reservation? Please call ahead! We pride ourselves in establishing a safe and secure environment for all who are on our property; that means unannounced visitors will be turned away.

Summer Session Groups

Since 1925, the Rotary Youth Camp has been providing safe and memorable summer camping experiences for disabled and disadvantaged youth in Greater Kansas City. Organizations serving disabled and disadvantaged youth may reserve space at the camp during the summer months and take advantage of all the Rotary Youth Camp has to offer.

Off-Season Session Groups

During the school year, any 501(c)3 youth organization is welcome to use the camp. The pool and kitchen are closed during this time, but that won’t make the experience any less meaningful to the campers. The organization will need to provide food and cooking supplies- feel free to use the available charcoal grills and fire pit areas- as well as provide cleaning and first aid/medical supplies.
