Kansas City Indian Center

Culture Camp provides an opportunity for all youth ages 5-13 to learn about American Indian culture while having fun with their peers.  In addition there are also opportunities for the older youth (ages 14-19) for leadership development with the Counselors in Training (CIT) program. Senior counselors and volunteers from the American Indian community work with the CITs and campers to aid in the understanding and appreciation of American Indian traditions, culture and values.  Campers learn about various songs, dances and stories in addition to the expected fun of swimming, hiking, archery, fellowship, crafts and much more.
